Once a resource has been created, a unique QR code is also created for that resource. You or your guides can join the resource and form a group by simply scanning the QR code.

Who can join a resource? Only guides that are part of your company will have the option to join the resource. If someone is not part of the company they will see the Company profile for leaving a review, booking another tour, connecting social media and more.

Joining a resource

1. Open the camera on the device that you are signed into your TipDirect account on.
2. Scan the QR code of the resource you wish to join.
3. Wait for the resource page to load and click ‘Add [Resource Name] To My Team’
4. A popup will appear prompting you to ‘Claim Resource’
5. You will now be brought to the team view, the resource is now part of your group and all QR for that resource will point to your group.

What Visitors See

Once a resource has been added to your group, anytime a visitor scans a resource QR, they are brought to your tipping page. If you have many resource QR codes added to your tour this increases the likelihood of you receiving a review or tip.
